We can follow three steps in choosing the right compressor size for a factory.
Oil free or oil injected: check carefully whether the compressed air quality shall be oil free or not. Whether the tiny amount of lubrication oil in compressed air will affect your end product is the key to determine the compressor type.
Working pressure: check the compressed air consumption equipment. What pressure it requires. If it requires a pressure of 8 bar, we can suggest the compressor to discharge 8.5-9 bar.
Air capacity: check the compressed air consumption equipment and get the total required amount. If the total calculated amount is 8 m3/min, we can choose a compressor with air capacity of around 9 m3/min. We can leave around 20% as the fluctuation amount.
